Safe Haven Orphanage's Located

The Safe Haven Orphanage is located Thai-Burmese border. During the summer time the children and our volunteer teachers go swimming down by the river. The Orphanage is situated in a quiet village right off of the Moi River. It is nestled amongst breathtakingly beautiful mountainous vistas.

The children are very good at helping each other out with whatever task is at hand. The children sometimes go down to the river to catch fish which they will later share with the others. They also enjoy hiking the nearby hills. They are always up for some fun adventure or another and are enthusiastic about sharing what they know.

Those who come to the orphanage are forever touched by these children. They embrace new visitors with open arms. They are eager learners and their smiles are contagious. It is never easy when one of our volunteers has to return to their country.
